Meet and Greet The Mommy Diaries!

I've really been enjoying getting to know other bloggers out there.

Today you get to learn more about the woman behind The Mommy Diaries- I am proud to introduce her for a few reasons: this woman is the one responsible for introducing me to blogs! I stumbled across a giveaway of hers on a site we both frequent, and she got me hooked.

Secondly, besides her being wonderful, she's Canadian! Annnd, with my upcoming move, we'll be almost neighbours! [Okay, not quite- neighbouring cities though!]

I won't hold you up any longer- here's how she answered my questions:

Why do you blog?
I started blogging to enter giveaways I saw on other blogs. Then I figured since I was on maternity leave, and I obviously had time to enter the giveaways, I can spend some time writing on my own blog. From not really knowing what I was gonna blog about, I decided to do product reviews. I'm actually surprised I've lasted this long. Any journal or diary I started usually ends up neglected after about a week.

What's the best part of blogging?
"Meeting" other bloggers. Finding new blogs to read. I also like reading the comments, it's a great feeling knowing people read what I write. Now that I will be vlogging every once in a while, I hope to connect more with the readers.Tell me about your family. My husband and I got together 6 years ago, and our daughter joined us last year, turning 1 on April 13. Music is a big part of our lives, my husband and I were in a band together; he played the guitar, I sang. We're hoping we passed on this love of music to our child. She was exposed to music from the time she was in me, up to now. But I must admit, I didn't play her any classical music. I don't like them either, unless they've been played by a rock band :P
I love reading the comments too! It makes you feel great that someone felt it was worth the time to write back :)

Tell me a little known fact about you:
I'm a great speed reader. I love science-fantasy books (not science-fiction). If I love a book, I can read it 100 times and still not get bored.
I'm not the only weird one!!! I too can read a book 100 times and enjoy it every time- I have a huge collection that I adore. [you need lots to choose from when you read so quickly!]

What's your favourite blog?
Other than my blog? :P It would have to be www.barefootmommies.com It was their giveaways that got me making an account on blogger. Also they have been very helpful. If I have any questions regarding my blog, they have always been fast to answer.

Krissy and Angela really have been the best- I love those gals!
