Organic summer clothing for kids- Finny's Greens review *giveaway closed*

Summer time is hot- one reason why some love it and others hate it. Regardless, we all look for ways to keep cool while looking 'cool'.
This summer I’ve got a great clothing company for your baby/kiddos! Finny’s Greens sent me an organic cotton ‘lap tee’ to test out on Ladybug. We love it and wanted to share our experience with you!

Since getting pregnant I’ve been so much more aware of chemicals- in my food, clothing and the toys I buy. I’ve been choosing organic items because they’re free of chemicals, which to me equals free of concern! Unfortunately many organic items are plain- you know, pale colors, boring style, etc. Not Finny’s Greens!

Look at the tee they sent for Ladybug- it’s their Turtle Tu Tu:

Even the back has a design! [Now that is different- and I love it!]

I’m super impressed with the company itself and for so many reasons:
First of all, their packaging is not only recycled but it’s recyclable [and SUPER CUTE!]. If Ladybug was older I’d give her some crayons and let her scribble away- it’s like a coloring page designed for the recipients! It comes exactly like in the photo below- ribbon and everything!

Secondly, they have an incredible ‘Recycling program’ in place: They encourage customers to donate their used items to secondhand stores or to send the items directly back to Finny’s Greens (!) to be sent to an orphanage in Central America!
Not only that, but they also donate new items to charitable fundraising events and critical organizations. Cool, no?

Thirdly, they use water based inks! No PVCs here.They also use fair labour [everything’s done in the US]. I always feel terrible about buying things I know were made with slave labour [or close enough]- you can rest easy with this purchase.

I can’t think of a thing wrong here. The t-shirt washed up wonderfully- soft with minimal shrinkage [honestly I couldn’t see any difference, but it’s cotton so I’m convinced it shrunk a little bit].

We reviewed a size 12-18 months and the sizing is dead on- before and after washing!
