Keep cool this summer- ChickChill review and giveaway!

Invented by a woman named Katharine in need of help from her hot flashes, ChickChills are the ultimate 'cool down'. Place on the back of your neck, knees or forearms for instant relief.

Pink ChickChill

ChickChill is basically a small icepack enclosed in a soft velour cover. It was designed to keep women cool while looking chic.

I've found my ChickChill to be useful for more than the one purpose. Not only has it saved me from sweating on hot days, but recently both Ladybug and I bonked our foreheads- on both occasions the ChickChill was the perfect size icepack to take down the swelling and reduce bruising.

The velour cover is easy to remove with it's elasticized top, and it seems to keep the cool in the pack while reducing the direct freeze on skin [you shouldn't apply ice directly to the skin- it can damage it]. I was sent both the red and the black. Both are cute, embroidered with the ChickChill logo.

ChickChill button

I get to share my experience with a reader: ChickChill has offered one lucky winner a ChickChill of their own! Winner gets to pick their favorite color.

To enter tell me:

-How will you use your ChickChill?
and/or
-Whereabouts are you? [Please don't share your town for safety reasons- large city and/or county is great!]

Answer both in separate comments, and if you answer both, leave an additional comment telling me you did.

Once you've completed the entry above you may do any/all of the following for additional entries:
-Follow ChickChill on Facebook
-Follow ChickChill on Twitter. You can Tweet this giveaway once/day for bonus entries [tweet: Win a ChickChill on Household Treasures (June 28) ]

i would use a chickchill for my boyfriend Evan. He burns really easily at the start of summer but refuses to put on sunblock unless we're actually going to the beach. He already burnt one arm and one side of his face just driving around in his car with the window down! His burn was pretty painful and knowing him there will be more to come so the chickchill would be great. I'm in winnipeg

babblingbrooke30 June 14, 2009 9:29 AM

My little bug is quite the bruiser... hits his head at least once a week. Would use this for bumps and bruises around the house, and to keep cool when I get too hot.

anathica June 28, 2009 1:00 AM

I live in the midlands of SC. It's hot here!

anathica June 28, 2009 1:00 AM

Answered both questions! :)

This week alone it's been in the triple digits here. I could really use one of these on those days we're outside a lot.

Tattooed Dork June 28, 2009 3:04 AM

I'm from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

My husband and I own a landscaping business and I work outdoors all day so I would love to use the ChickChill to keep me cool on all those miserable hot days. I'm located a little west of St. Louis!
Thanks!

I would use the ChillPack for those times when my husband or I twist or pull something. We are getting to that age!

Auriette June 28, 2009 9:57 AM

I live in northwest Florida, and we don't have central air, and it's boiling hot today. Maybe I have found another use for ChillPack - to keep me cool at the computer!

Auriette June 28, 2009 9:57 AM

I answered both questions. :)
