The best nail files! Review and giveaway

I was sent two different sized glass nail files from Classy Nail Files to review.

Now, I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting, but I received two different hand painted files, one 3 1/2 " [small] painted with a baby rattle and one 5 1/2 " [medium] painted with flowers. The small I immediately tucked into my wallet, where it's conveniently remained since. I love the hand painted designs, and the fact that they're durable! After being carted around for a month there isn't any damage to my pictures.

I of course tested my first file immediately upon receipt, and I was impressed with how the fine etchings did such a great job- the file feels so smooth that you'd assume it wouldn't be all that effective. I've found the files to be perfect for anything- a tiny touch up [one swipe leaves a smooth nail- I haven't had a ragged filing since using these] or a serious filing to remove length. 

Once the file turns white with the nail remnants, all you need to do is rinse it under water and dry- it looks like new again. After using for over a month, these files are still working like new [and as advertised on the site, they're supposed to last a lifetime... I'm not surprised!], and I adore them! As their site quotes "Once a customer has used a Classy Nail File, no other nail file will do", I'm in total agreement.

Apparently these can be used with artificial nails as well, and nail technicians are finally catching on that they're brilliant! Not only are they durable and provide such smooth filing, but they can be sterilized many different ways [so important in a spa/salon]: by heat, autoclave, liquid and UV lighting.

Each file is made of highly tempered glass [read: no shattering worries] that is finely etched to 

produce a filing surface that is smooth yet durable. 

There are a wide varieties of styles available: with hand painted designs [that are very durable!], colored glass, or a combo of the two, everyone will be able to find something that appeals to them. [you can see a few of my favorites in the included pictures]

After recently throwing out several ragged traditional files, I have no reason to use another one: not only am I reducing my waste [if you're an avid file user you will likely go through several a year], but I'm achieving much better results [I'd happily pay for that any day] and I'm saving money. For $7 you can buy a medium glass nail file- if you're buying a 'decent' file at Walmart you'll likely spend at least $4 anyways... and this will last you until your nails stop growing! If you could all come over and try one of my files, you wouldn't hesitate- there's simply no decision to make!
