Big Eye Dummies- review and giveaway!

Ladybug was sent a really fun new toy to test out--> from Big Eye Fun LLC we were given a Disco the Cow [one of their Big Eye Dummies], a designer plush toy.

Disco is really cute. I didn't know which model we were receiving, but I was really hoping it'd be her!

About 13"long, Disco's a bit smaller than I'd been expecting [even though I now read on the site her measurement!], but she's actually the perfect size for us: big enough that Ladybug can give her a true hug, but small enough that we can cart her around on our daily errands without hassle.

The fun thing about Big Eye Dummies is that their eyes and mouths are removeable. They attach with enclosed magnets [sewn under the material], and come with a 'replacement', so you can mix and match according to your mood! When we received ours the pieces were sewn down, so all we needed was a careful snip and we were able to play.

While Ladybug is under the target age of "2-immature adults", she has had a lot of fun with Disco> the moment I opened the package she was drawn to her black and white body, and sat removing and replacing her facial features for over 30 minutes! She was carried everywhere with us for several days, and has now become a regular friend of hers. I will caution you that if you're going to be carting your Big Eye Dummy around you'll want to either check regularily that all facial features are still attached or hold onto them separately. We haven't lost a piece yet, but we've come close [had to backtrack].

Because Ladybug was 'under age' we brought Disco over to some older children to get their opinions and we received the same response! Disco looked fun and intriguing to them right off the bat, and held their interest when they realized they could make funny faces with her [including eyes on the mouth].
